On January 15, 2010 (Friday), Yoshimasa Kajiwara, Secretary General of Japan Institute of Metals, with his accompanying party, paid a visit to Beijing Representative Office of Japan Society for the Promotion of S cience (JSPS) and compared notes with Director Mr. Hiroshi Fukunishi.

Japan Institute of Metals is cooperating with the Chinese Society for Metals in the field of metal materials. They will leverage the strength of the returned researchers from Japan to reinforce the academic exchange and cooperation on metal materials. It is expected that there will be active activities in the future.
