JSPS offers fellowship programs to give opportunities for excellent researchers from around the world to go to Japan to conduct scientific collaboration with their Japanese colleagues.
■JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (Standard) 【Postdocs】
JSPS carries out bilateral joint cooperative programs. The aim of these programs is to form sustained networks evolved from individual scientist exchanges including young researchers. JSPS provides financial support to Japanese scientists implementing such bilateral joint research projects and seminars. Mongolian Researchers are expected (but not required) to secure matching funds from sources in Mongolia.
■JSPS Bilateral Joint Research Projects/Seminars (Open Partnership)
This program supports Mongolian excellent researchers who wish to receive a PhD from Japanese university by submitting a dissertation without going through a doctoral course.
